My husband will almost ask when he walks in the door, "How was your day?"
Here is my newest answer rather than the laundry list of the days woes or even the joys.
Matthew 22:36-39
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
If I can say yes to these questions:
1. Did I love God with everything in me?
2. Did I love others?
Then, it was a good day.
