Celebrating in New York City
This weekend we celebrated Gabe's 35th birthday in the Big Apple. We lived the city life for the weekend--enjoyed the sites ( Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Rockafeller Center, Central Park, Empire State Building, Museum of Natural History. We walked to a corner bakery for bagels and cupcakes and surprised Gabe on his special day, ate yummy NY style pizza, hailed cabs, rode buses and took the subway. (Definitely a change from our day to day life!) My cousin Abby(we stayed with her at her home in NYC) graciously offered to watch the girls so we could go out to a beautiful restaurant that overlooked Central Park to celebrate his bday. After dinner we strolled through the busy, noisy streets of the city wanting to stretch out our alone time as long as we could. But, the most fun of all was spending time together as a family. We made memories that will last forever. Happy Birthday Gabe!

I don't know if I ever got to tell you how AMAZING all your pictures were! I looked at them with my family. We LOVED them. Now I have it on Bob's agenda to take me to NY this summer! :)
