Three Little Crabs

We lived in Charleston SC a few years ago. It's our favorite place in the world. I bought a picture of three little crabs side by side with big pinchers.. a very "beachy" looking picture that hangs in our laundry room. I was folding clothes in there the other day and laughed thinking of what I did not know when I bought that picture 6 years ago. Never would I have imagined:

Three little crabs scurrying, running and scooting all over the place.
Three little crabs grabbing and pinching one another because they want what they want.
Three little crabs pinching life right out of Mama Crab making her "crabby" at times. :)
Three little crabs being absolute joys day in and day out despite them pinching life right out of me. All I need to do is catch them up, carry them in my arms and boil them in all the deep love that this Mama crab can give.

Ella Grace: your enthusiasm and love for life amazes me. I love how you want to always "do right" and know how much God desires to help you. Your heart for Jesus at a young age motivates me to want your same passion.

Miriam: your smile melts my heart. Your sweet voice and songs are beautiful music to my ears. You are such a quiet, gentle spirit. Your willingness to serve motivates me to want to serve others more.

Susanna: your energetic happy spirit makes everyone want to be near you. I love watching you give hugs and kisses to your sisters. Your joyful attitude motivates me to keep my attitude in check.


Girls, never would I have imagined life could be so full of joy having you by my side. May you each live out the purposes and calling God has for you and may you serve Him wholeheartedly in all that you do, say and think! Whatever you do, in word or deed, do it ALL for Jesus.
