DELIGHT

Direct me in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight.... For I delight in Your commands because I love them. Psalm 119:35, 47


I was sharing with my friend how I have not been very intentional about teaching the Word to my children or let alone, thinking about Him in my days. As I read these verses, my soul was pricked and got me thinking and praying that I will DELIGHT in HIS WORD! It made perfect sense. I am not teaching my girls the Word because.....sigh......

I have not been delighting in His commands. I have not been loving them. His Word, and living according to it, has not been my highest priority. That's the reason I have not been intentional about teaching and training my girls for righteousness.

I am so thankful for seeing these words and The Lord's sweet reminder that He will direct me in HIS WAYS, HIS WORDS, HIMSELF.

Lord, may I be intentional today as I DELIGHT in Your Word. Thank You for my living and active relationship with You.
