Little Spunky Susanna,
I am so sorry you fell and cut your chin tonight on the toilet. I was so sad for you. But I was so happy to be able to spend these past hours with you at the ER getting your cut "all fixed." It's not often that it's just you and me.. where you share your tender heart.
I was so proud of how brave and smiley you were, even when you were afraid. I'm thankful you chose to be cooperative with the doctors and nurses. When you announced that you "were all done with your blanket," I was happy because I KNOW God is growing you into a confident little/big one.
I loved hearing you tell your sisters how you missed them as they missed you too. You are loved deeply, Susanna Jane! This was a sweet moment for me and it makes me want more time with you before you grow up.
