I woke to the sweetest sound..one little bird singing. It's been awhile that I have heard little chirping sounds outside of my window. It's been cold and rainy and winter for a LONG time. But this one little bird and his little chirps gave me hope that spring awaits and is right around the corner. His joyful sounds also reminded me of....
HOPE.
The freshness of a new spring day. The smell of green grass. Open windows. Days at the park. Kites. Blue, warm - sky days. Buds on trees and flowers. Dead branches now showing signs of life. No jackets or mittens. Walks looking for flowers or bugs.
HOPE.
Old winter has gone. New spring has come. Death to life…… but there is more!
HOPE.
...and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:5-6
