Isaiah 55
Invitation to the Thirsty
1 "Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.
2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.
Jesus. You are enough. I don't need a thing but You. You offer me Yourself freely.. all of You for me.. for us all.
Satisfy: in Hebrew is sob'ah means "to have enough, be full... sufficiently" ( Strong's)
Why do I look and work so hard for what is never enough? Never satisfying? NOTHING but Jesus will be sufficient. No person, no situation, no amount of money, no profession, not ONE single thing can do or be to me what Jesus can be or provide. It's pointless to run after anything with no lasting value.
I still do it.
"Drink from Me."
I'm thirsty Lord! I come to drink from Your living waters KNOWING, TRUSTING and BELIEVING that You are enough. Forever.
My mouth will speak in praise of You! Let every creature praise His holy name forever and ever. Psalm 145:21
Happy Monday, ya'll!
