a delightful day

He will fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Job 8:21

Today is the most beautiful day. Well, all of the days are beautiful in New Mexico, but today it's exceptionally beautiful. After breakfast we took a walk to deliver a thank you note and then wait for the mail man to come to give him some cookies we made. Ella Grace pushed Susanna in the stroller and Miriam pushed Daddy Bear in hers. We stopped along the way to pick up bugs, worms and leaves. Susanna and I watched while EG and M pretended to run away from a tiger. Susanna squealed and squirmed with her whole body whenever she watched them play and laugh. It’s pure joy to see my kids play together happily and really show God’s love to each other. It’s been a day of laughter. I’m smiling because I see growth in us all. (Yet, there are still SOOOOOO many areas where we still need to grow. I am grateful the Lord does not leave us to do it alone.) BUT, my greatest JOY and DELIGHT is My SAVIOR, JESUS. All of these pleasures I have experienced today- and every day- come straight from His loving hand. Thank You, Lord.
