Food for thought

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go humgry, and He who believes in Me will never go thirsty." John 6:35

This is what I am going to share with the girls this morning at breakfast and on our way to the DMV. I want to talk about filling ourselves with food to satisfy us. ( We eat because we are hungry and we need nourishment and energy and so we can be sustained physically. But we must have a relationship with Jesus Christ to satisfy our spiritual hunger!)


I know any change in their hearts will be because of the Lord's great work in their hearts. Not me. I needed this verse today for myself in a big way. Is The Lord what is satisfying me? Is He my total Sustenance? I am feeling thirsty for His Word. I am not getting enough of Him. I know what that means. I need humility. More of Him, less of me.
