A Gift From God

Before we had kids, Gabe and I would walk every night after dinner. These were some of our most precious times. We'd make all kinds of goals spiritually, physically, mentally, we’d talk of our future and re-evaluate our present, focus on what things we could change, what things we were doing well, and we would pray. Then came kids and we don’t have those walks and talks as much.

I told him that I missed walking at night together and getting out to exercise. He missed that time too. So, he suggested we get a sitter for 30-45 minutes every night. I really didn’t think anyone would want to come for just a short time every night and didn’t think that he would really want to spend the money. Right away he figured how much we would pay and said that it would be the best investment of our money. So I called sweet teenage Anna who lives right behind us and she was so excited to do it!

I can’t tell you how much this has rejuvenated me, my husband and our quality time together. In just 30 minutes we have so much to share and discuss. This is a MUCH NEEDED time for us both and I truly look forward to it as soon as I wake. This is one of the best gifts from God and I will cherish it every moment. Thank You, Lord!

ooops, it posted by accident before I was ready...forgive my typos..don't know how to fix it now...
Anyway, this time for you and Gabe will be worth more than any amount of money you pay a sitter. What a great way to get out of the house and share your day together and grow closer to your partner in parenting!
