Perfect Word

Psalm 19:7 says the law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. I am so thankful that I have God's Word. It truly refreshes my soul when I read it. I am thankful that His Word is what I choose to base all my decisions and actions on. Yes, I fail so often, but each time I read His precepts- the ones that are "right, giving joy to the heart," ( v 8) I am reminded that I have a chioce to use His Word as my guide or lay it aside and walk according to my own ways. I pray that I will keep my heart pure before Him today and be obedient to what He has in store, for "in keeping them there is great reward." ( v 11)
