Starting over song

Do you ever want to start a day over? We do. Often. Grumpy, selfish and impatient little ones beg for a new start. (Which usually means me too! :) )

"On your mark, get set, go!"

And off we go, doing everything backwards... walking backwards up the steps, into our beds, at times even putting back on pajamas to make it more real, and then we rise and shine again but this time singing our favorite "starting over song" to the tune of "Frère Jacques" in a group hug. We can't help but smile, laugh, giggle, hug and kiss and we are once again ready for the day.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient,( repeat)
love is kind ( repeat)
It does not envy,
it does not boast,

it is not self-seeking,

I am so thankful for all the times I can start over.

Lord, thank You for Your excellent way of love and the example You give.. May I love the way YOU do.
