Not having a back yard is tough in town home living. Sending the kids outside to play is not an option. We all needed a break from being in the house. And fast!
What to do?
Walk.
Bundled up, we headed out for a walk. It was the most beautiful day and very windy. Leaves were flying everywhere. The sun was shining and it was so crisp. We started collecting as many as we could and soon had more than we could carry.
What to do?
Make a leave wreath. It's hanging on the door to greet our guests and remind us of this fall season. Thanks be to God for graciously giving us this season, this day, and this idea so we could refocus our hearts and minds on Him.
I think it's time for another walk as I am typing........
