He knows me and loves me

I am not great at keeping up with photos. I am, however, good at ordering them. Heheeee.

I usually order almost all the pics we take and Gabe says every time.. "Do you really need ALL of these?" I assure him that I do and that it's worth the money spent.

The girls sit and go through them one by one and sort them by who is in each picture, who needs a picture of the ocean, whose turn it is to have the one of dad, of mom, of the neighbor's dog, etc.

I used to want to have them all arranged by time, but since this has become their job with joy, it doesn’t matter to me how they put them in the book. What matters is that they enjoy this time together.

It's so fun to hear them talk about their memories. It's fun to see them happy working together. It's fun to see them put all the pictures together and take the time to glance through each book and reminisce about their lives together. They pulled out their baby books and I re-lived each birth with them.

"What's all that white stuff on me?”
“Look at my funny face and my tongue out. Mom, is that because I want milk?”
“Mom, why is daddy dressed in a doctor's outfit and a mask?”
“Mom, your tummy was soooo big.”
“Look at my little hair!”
“I forgot all about those little tube things in my nose. Mom, did I keep pulling them out?”
“Awwww, look! It's my first bath.”

As they were looking intently, I read Psalm 139:1-10 to them and told them of His deep love for each one of us. He doesn't need a picture to remember us! HE KNOWS US PERFECTLY. To me, that's the best picture snapped and kept in the album of my heart and mind every moment.

HE KNOWS ME AND LOVES ME. Better than anyone else.

For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
1 O LORD, you have searched me
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.

3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.

4 Before a word is on my tongue
you know it completely, O LORD.

5 You hem me in—behind and before;
you have laid your hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, [a] you are there.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
