Light, Bread, Rock

I love learning Bible with my children.  Each day our lesson just softens my heart. These simple truths are making such a huge impact on me that I can’t help speak them over and over to myself and my children every day. I prayed this school year that God would breathe life into our home and I believe He is! His Word has come alive to me in a new way recently and I love that I can learn it hand in hand with my girls. His Word is alive and changes us! I am so thankful He keeps us growing and changing to become more like Him.  Change me according to YOUR WORD, Lord and may I always seek to APPLY YOUR WORD to my life.

Jesus is our light. ( I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12)

Jesus is our bread, our food, our sustenance. (I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35)

Jesus is our rock. (Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24)

Simple truths for a simple girl whose goal is simple: Live and Love like Jesus.
