Graduation in DC

Yesterday, Gabe graduated! Not only was I super proud of my sweet Gabe, but I was reminded of how happy  I am to be a military wife. It was such a patriotic event smack dab in the heart of DC watching an arena of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines come together in unity. The seats in the Constitution Hall had stars and stripes, even! My heart was beating red, white, and blue the whole morning! :) Our two short years in DC are nearly over. I am so thankful God gave him this opportunity and allowed us to explore this area in such a short time. It's been a wonderful experience filled with memories we will never forget. While I am sad to close this chapter, I am eager to begin a new one in Mississippi where new chapters will be written. Yes, the saying is true that "Home is where the military sends you", but even more.. GOD is behind it all and it truly is where He sends us. DC, we will miss you.
