Little Firecracker

Tomorrow our little Susanna is turning three! What a little firecracker she is! Rarely is there a dull moment with her. She lights a room with her smile and enthusiasm. On Thursdays I go to her gymnastics class with her and she amazes me with her skills. Last week, walking tip toe backwards on the balance beam, she jumped off like a frog, did two cartwheels and two forward rolls with in seconds and was ready for more!

She loves chore time and her very favorite chore to do ( and she really does it well) is clean the toilets. She begs to clean them. Nothing else in our homes are as clean as these potties! Her busy little body will serve her and those around her well.

I am reminding myself today of why we chose to name her Susanna.

Luke 8:1-3 (English Standard Version)

Luke 8
Women Accompanying Jesus
1Soon afterward he went on(A) through cities and villages, proclaiming and(B) bringing the good news of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with him, 2and also(C) some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities:(D) Mary, called Magdalene,(E) from whom seven demons had gone out, 3and(F) Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s household manager, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for them[a] out of their means

1. We desire Susanna to walk along-side with Jesus going where He leads.
2. We desire Susanna to serve others with all that she has so God will be glorified in and through her life.

May Susanna Jane grow to be a faithful follower of Jesus!
