Our Pastor read from Psalm 63 yesterday. It was called Earnestly I Seek You. Here it is if you want to listen.

This message moved me and convicted me to change. He urged us all out of complacency to a place of earnestly seeking God. Not just in the times of desperation, but in everyday life.. good or bad times. He asked us to evaluate our lives to see what is keeping us from earnestly seeking the King of Kings.
I can think of many areas in my life where I am not seeking God like one Whose "soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You" ( v 1)as David did. At times, other things satisfy my soul more. So much more that I just get complacent. So I am asking God one thing:
Make me so thirsty that I want nothing else to satisfy me. I echo David, the Psalmist:
Because Your love is better than life, My lips will praise You. (v 3)
Please take me there Lord! I'm ready! I'm willing!
