Our new home is wonderful. Everything is fresh. It's nice to have a new start. We love our home and neighborhood. Maryland is quite different than New Mexico! We are slowly adjusting to life here. We are very happy to have found a church to get plugged into here. May God bring new friends and a church family in our time here. We are also very happy to have some older neighbors that have been around for awhile to help us with questions, directions and advice. It's very fun to have every kind of restaurant with in a five mile radius. (But we will have to put a halt on going out too many nights in one week!) Gabe has started school and studies alot so the girls and I have been to the neighborhood park and pool meeting new friends. Susanna is out of a crib in a bunk bed and the transition is going well. She has also potty trained herself and just like that--no longer in diapers. No babies in diapers. Not sure what to think about that one quite yet. I suppose it's bittersweet.. and much easier! Ella Grace and Miriam have been very "motherly" to Susanna in helping her be big. Of course there are many challenges that come with new territory but God is faithful and sending me help and encouragement along the way.
Joshua 24:24 has been in the forefront of my mind lately and I pray in our children's as well.
"We will serve the LORD our God and we will obey His voice."
May it be so Lord in this new place.
