Toddler Bed Update

We tried the toddler bed the other night with Susanna.

She LOVED it. She had a super fun time being a big girl.

I sat in the hall and listened to them talk. Each wanted their small little bibles. They were "reading" stories and talking about God and Jesus. I loved hearing that!

Then I heard Susanna say as she was reading hers, "Once upon a time.... a boootiful pwincess... she so pretty. The end."

The two older girls fell asleep soon after. Susanna did way after they did and was up again at 1:30 am. Ella Grace came in to tell me that Susanna was noisy and ripping pages out of her books.

I had been asking the Lord for wisdom in this whole toddler bed thing and it was clear....

NOW IS NOT THE TIME.

We are moving out in less than a month and I know that I don't have the energy or perseverance to battle this and be consistent.

Another time...maybe when she is in college!
